Why did you choose to study this career?

When I was a child my dream jobs were to be a veterinarian, a magician, an inventor, and I always played with water and soap and I liked to think that it was an experiment or a potion.

When I grew up and entered high school I began to think more seriously about a career, at first I wanted medicine as every dreaming teenager in high school, then I realized it was going to be super difficult, so I began to develop this idea of liking science. I remember one class of genetics that I loved, because the idea of manipulating DNA was so cool, so I decided that it was going to be my objective in life, so I chose biotechnology, then I took the PSU, and I was chosen in the UTEM but I wanted the UCH so I took a sabbatical year and retook the PSU, in that year I realized I didn’t like math so  i wouldn’t be happy in an engineering like biotechnology, so I leaned towards a bachelor’s in biology degree, in the moment of choosing I placed this career and pedagogy in biology and chemistry in the UCH, with a difference of 10 points I didn’t make it to biology, but I took pedagogy and I don’t regret it, I was always a person who liked sciences but I also had an affinity to humanities, so this career was perfect for me, I think I didn’t think of this career before because the stigma that goes around the teachers, some people even belittle being a teacher, but in reality it is a super difficult career and the challenges that it brings with it couldn’t be handled by many people.

I think that when I graduate, besides being a teacher I’d like to try a lot of jobs, such as director, administration I would even like to do science and contribute to different studies in laboratories.

  1. Its very sad the little respect teachers recieve in various aspects of our world, but its good that you managed to find a passion at least in the career, also is it just me or the image is kind of bugged?
